To deliver personalized guitar tone settings for your specific rig, we collect only necessary data:
- Account & Contact: Email address provided when joining the waitlist or creating an account.
- Gear Profile: Your registered guitar models, pickups, amp channels, pedals, and multi-FX units (used exclusively to compute your tone settings).
- Subscription Receipts: Digital receipts verified via Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat (we never receive or store raw credit card numbers).
- Diagnostics: Anonymous crash reports and performance telemetry to improve app reliability.
2. What We Never Do
Our principles are rooted in honesty and user control:
- No background audio recording: Riffmigo provides visual dial-in guides and does not covertly record your playing or environment.
- No selling of personal data: We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal information or email to third-party data brokers.
- No remote device tampering: All adjustments are made by you on physical dials and switches. The app does not write to your physical hardware.
3. How We Use Information
Collected information is utilized strictly to:
- Translate song tones into executable knob and channel values on your specific gear;
- Synchronize your rigs and saved tone targets across your devices;
- Notify waitlist members of launch dates and major milestones (with immediate unsubscribe anytime);
- Deliver responsive customer support and resolve technical inquiries.
4. Third-Party Technical Providers
We partner with reputable infrastructure providers under strict privacy agreements:
- Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI): To format explanatory dial-in instructions without using your private inputs to train public models.
- RevenueCat: For secure purchase and subscription entitlement verification across iOS and Android.
- Firebase / Google Cloud: For encrypted authentication and data storage.
5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Regardless of your location, you have the right to access, rectify, export, or permanently delete your account and all associated data.
To request complete data deletion, email support@riffmigo.com. We will verify your identity and process your deletion within 30 days.
